Job Description

Academic Resource is looking for a technical writer for a new development project at one of our customers in Uppsala. You will be part of the customer’s team with experienced technical documentation engineers where your main tasks will be to produce technical user and service documentation as well as illustrations.

The technical writer role involves working closely with designers, developers, service staff, trainers and product specialists where you are involved in the entire process from information gathering to publication.

The position is a consulting assignment starting immediately with great potential for recruitment. Office hours 08:00-17:00.

Qualifications and experience:

-At least 3 years of experience as a technical writer.

-Experience of working in CMS systems and basic image editing. Meritorious if you have worked in Skribenta and Adobe FrameMaker before.

– Technical post-secondary education

– Very good knowledge of both English and Swedish

Is social and has a good ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others.

Our customer company develops, manufactures and services cyclotrons that are installed globally and delivered from the factory in Uppsala. A cyclotron is a particle accelerator used to produce positron-emitting tracers. The tracers are used together with a PET/CT camera to detect and diagnose cancer.
