Cashier

We are in search of a Head Cashier to join our team. Your primary responsibility will involve processing transactions for customers and handling payments for goods or services. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in welcoming customers to the store and assisting them in locating desired products or items.

Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities include:

Customer Service: Warmly greeting customers, addressing their inquiries, and providing assistance with purchases. Processing Transactions: Efficiently scanning items, inputting prices, and calculating totals using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system. Accepting Payments: Skillfully accepting various forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments. Accurate counting of money and providing change as needed is essential. Bagging Items: Carefully bagging purchased items for customers and ensuring they are handled with care. Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring cleanliness and organization in the cashier area, including the cash register, conveyor belts, and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

Here are the qualifications and skills required:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in cashiering, sales, or retail/customer service is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient numerical aptitude and accuracy in cash transactions handling. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and execute tasks efficiently. Meticulous attention to detail in transaction processing and record-keeping. Availability to work in flexible shifts which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
