Job Description
to know the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, other legal acts regulating the functions performed by the teacher, to be guided in their work by the normative legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, the orders of the director of the gymnasium and other documents regulating the activity of the gymnasium approved by them and the job description;
• know the labor code of the Republic of Lithuania, the occupational safety and health laws of the Republic of Lithuania, the requirements of the fire safety instructions, personal data protection and other documents regulating the teacher’s activities;
• to have acquired the basics of computer literacy or to have an ECDL certificate;
• to be able to fluently and reasonedly present ideas orally and in writing, to be able to work in a team;
• to teach in accordance with updated general programs, taking into account students’ abilities and inclinations, to strengthen students’ learning motivation; to provide assistance to students with educational, learning difficulties and special educational needs, to adapt the subject program, content, and methods to them; evaluate students’ learning achievements, constantly inform students and their parents (guardians, carers) about the progress made in learning; to plan the educational content of the subject taking into account the diversity of students’ educational needs; be able to cooperate with teachers, students, students’ parents (guardians, caregivers) and work with them in a team, solving issues related to improving the educational process
