Job Description

Responsible for ensuring level of equipment and tools are maintained to ensure the smooth running of site activities – inc. PPE, small tools and equipment etc:

  • Establish and promote best practice in health, safety, security, and environmental matters in conjunction with the HSSE department.
  • Work in the spirit of the company’s guiding principles, ambitions, goals and contributing to best practice.
  • To undertake assigned activities under the direction of the Foreman.
  • Ensure the ongoing availability of PPE / Small tools etc for the site.
  • Track and account for all items moving to and from the stores area.
  • Computer literate to ensure accurate maintenance of site records.
  • Be enthusiastic & committed to the team’s purpose and share responsibility for performance.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the appropriate levels of safety, quality & cost.
  • Producing the deliverables/products to agreed specifications.
  • To take care of any safety equipment / tools provided and ensure they are used correctly.
  • Work as part of a team & contribute towards successful communication.

Qualifications

  • CSCS Card (relevant type)
  • COSHH trained
  • Basic IT Skills are required for this role
  • Forklift Licence (desirable)

Skills & Experience

  • Previous Construction Experience is an advantage.
  • Manual Handling skills.
  • Good IT knowledge to ensure electronic records are kept throughout project lifespan
