Job Description

We are looking to hire a dynamic and versatile Store Assistant to join our team in Dubai. We’re seeking a highly organized and proactive individual who can warmly welcome customers, understand their needs, and offer assistance in finding products or answering questions.

Responsibilities:

Here are the main things they will be responsible:

  • Welcome customers and help them find products or answer their questions.
  • Accurately process sales using a cash register or POS system.
  • Keep the store clean and organized by restocking shelves and arranging displays.
  • Receive and check merchandise shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Help manage inventory by counting stock, restocking shelves, and noting any issues.
  • Follow company policies for security, safety, and customer service.
  • Work with the team to meet store targets and goals.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints precisely and professionally.
  • Assist with periodic stocktaking and report inventory levels to management.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the Store Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements:

Here are the qualifications and skills required:

  • Finished high school or have an equivalent qualification.
  • Worked in retail or customer service before.
  • Good at talking to people and being helpful and friendly.
  • Can work well with others in a team and help each other reach our goals.
  • Very organized and careful with details.
  • Able to stand for a long time and lift things up to 25 pounds.
  • Know basic math for handling money and processing transactions.
