Job Description
We are looking to hire a dynamic and versatile Store Assistant to join our team in Dubai. We’re seeking a highly organized and proactive individual who can warmly welcome customers, understand their needs, and offer assistance in finding products or answering questions.
Responsibilities:
Here are the main things they will be responsible:
- Welcome customers and help them find products or answer their questions.
- Accurately process sales using a cash register or POS system.
- Keep the store clean and organized by restocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Receive and check merchandise shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Help manage inventory by counting stock, restocking shelves, and noting any issues.
- Follow company policies for security, safety, and customer service.
- Work with the team to meet store targets and goals.
- Address customer concerns or complaints precisely and professionally.
- Assist with periodic stocktaking and report inventory levels to management.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Store Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements:
Here are the qualifications and skills required:
- Finished high school or have an equivalent qualification.
- Worked in retail or customer service before.
- Good at talking to people and being helpful and friendly.
- Can work well with others in a team and help each other reach our goals.
- Very organized and careful with details.
- Able to stand for a long time and lift things up to 25 pounds.
- Know basic math for handling money and processing transactions.
