Job Description
Responsibilities
· Coordinates accounting functions and programs.
· Prepares financial analyses and reports.
· Prepares revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
· Assists with preparing and monitoring budgets.
· Maintains and reconciles balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
· Assists with annual audit preparations.
· Investigates and resolves audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
· Prepares corporate tax returns.
· Contributes to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
· Performs other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
· 7+ years of accounting experience in the UAE
. Experience in General Trading Company is a must
· Working knowledge of tax laws applicable in the UAE
· Strong financial analysis skills.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong organizational and stress management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
. Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Profit, QuickBooks etc.
