Postal Worker/Delivery Driver

Job Description

Our Client is one of the UKs best-loved brands. Every day, they are bringing letters and parcels to people around the country; something that communities across the UK rely on.

We are looking for 3.5 delivery drivers with good experience of Multi Drop anything up to 40 drops a day. Must have B on your licence. This will also involve walking and posting letters by hand.

Working Monday to Saturday with 1 day off in the week based inDebden Nr Loughton

No Criminal Convictions allowed as you will need to do a DBS check.

Essential

Valid UK Drivers licence

Customer facing skills

Previous experience of driving commercial vehicles

Knowledge of geographical area

Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules

Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions

Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations

Other

Good experience in multidrop, No more than 6pts on your licence, no jeans or trainers allowed.

Rate of Pay £13.37 an hour.

  • Excellent organisation: You will need to be able to plan your round and make sure you complete all your deliveries in good time.
  • Resilience: You will be able to work under pressure and with the public, acting as a friendly face that people know and trust.
  • Flexibility: You will be working in different areas
