- B.S. or B.A. from an accredited 4-year university, MBA preferred
- 6-7 years of freight forwarding experience in Dubai.
- Knowledge of customs laws & regulations, Emirsal 2, Catalog.
- Air, Sea, and multimodal import and export experience including DG handling.
- Charter and warehousing experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with shipping lines, airlines, have direct contacts, can manage bookings, negotiate freight, secure space.
- Energetic & motivational to customers and employees.
- Sensitive to customer and employee needs, excellent communicator.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Confidence and decisiveness.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Promote and ensure a cohesive team environment.
- Continual desire to learn & expand knowledge through trade magazines, programs, training, etc.
- Aptitude to keep up with fast-paced changes in the international logistics environment.
- Ability to carefully nurture both knowledgeable and beginner shippers by effectively expressing the employee and Priority Worldwide’s knowledge base.
- Strong computer skills which include the ability to type 35+ words per minute and efficient use of Windows, MAC OSX, MS Office, etc.
- Cargowise One experience is a plus.
