• Husky Bus: We offer a Husky Bus for early, late, night and day shifts that
leaves from the Merzig P+R car park on the Saarwiesen, then stops at the Schengen Lyceum in Perl and then goes to Husky without any further stops. We are looking for a measurement technician (m/f/d)
to start as soon as possible . In this role, you will be responsible for the development, qualification and improvement of test procedures for plastic parts (preforms, closures and medical parts) worldwide. You will set the standards for plastics testing at all Husky locations and work with the local inspection teams to implement and maintain the procedures. In this role, you will be part of the global inspection team within the quality organization. Responsibilities: • Develop and qualify test methods using statistical quality tools (e.g. Gage R&R / MSE) • Work with suppliers to test, develop and qualify new test equipment, technology scouting • Develop, update and maintain test templates and work instructions for plastics laboratories • Align and deploy test methods and associated control plans across all Husky plastics laboratories
• Develop new testing methods for steel surface treatment
• Collaborate with Operations, Design, Development, Project and Service in troubleshooting parts and implementing corrective actions
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will have a Technician and/or Masters degree in Metrology
• Good knowledge of statistical tools required (Gage R&R, Skills Studies…), ideally with Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
• Advanced knowledge of Visual Basic programming
• You have experience in inspection (visual, CMM)
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
• We are looking for individuals with initiative, willingness to take responsibility, attention to detail and enjoy teamwork
• Project management, change management and moderation skills as well as persuasion and negotiation skills
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
• As we operate in an international work environment, it is important that you
have good English communication skills (written and oral).
