This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated person to join our ambitious Financial Services Advisory team. This will be a challenging and fulfilling role, where you will be required to operate as a key member of our team, playing a lead role in the delivery of business-focused solutions to a wide breadth of Financial Services clients (covering Banking, Insurance, and Securities, Investment Management and Intermediaries). The successful candidate will have the technical skills and commercial awareness to take ownership of shaping approaches and plans for significant projects, and leading consulting teams to deliver on these plans. Within this, strong client and people management skills will be required to ensure high-quality team outputs and to manage senior client expectations, as well as managing upward to the Partner when required. Responsibilities include:
- Playing a central role in the scoping of new assignments as well as their delivery planning and execution
- Managing teams to ensure assigned projects and tasks meet required deadlines and quality expectations
- Managing senior stakeholder expectations on an ongoing basis, both internally and client-facing
- Facilitating client committees/workshops, having the capacity to manage a room of senior and knowledge participants in order to steer them toward specific meeting goals
- Shaping and editing formal reports and presentations prepared by team analysts and consultants ahead of the Director/Partner review stages
- Mentoring and development of junior staff – our people and their careers are at the center of everything we do
- Supporting business development initiatives (including contribution and delivery of proposal and sales pitch work)
- Undertaking industry research and thought leadership covering the key market sectors/target clients
Education / professional qualifications:
- A relevant bachelor’s degree
- Masters or further studies – would be desirable
- Recognized project management qualifications – would be desirable
Experience required:
- Industry experience in a strategy or business improvement/change management role at a financial services organization will also be considered
- Experience in working in and/or with large-scale organizations
- Strong knowledge of one or more of the core Financial Services industries (i.e. Banking, Asset Management, and Insurance) with an awareness of emerging trends and their impact on the commercial landscape
- Experience in delivering one or more of the following assignment types is essential:
- Strategy design and implementation planning
- Customer and market strategy
- Operations Excellence

- Operating model development
- Regulatory-driven change/implementation projects
- Technology enablement
- Large-scale project and Programme management delivery
