Job Description
The Luggage Handler is responsible for ensuring the smooth transportation of passengers’ luggage from the Airport to the Island, and vice versa. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, attention to detail, and commitment to providing excellent guest service.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
- Load and unload luggage from Airport to Island, ensuring it is handled with care.
- Transport luggage from the lounge and welcome center to the vessel using specialized ground service equipment.
- Ensure luggage is correctly identified and tagged for the appropriate operator on Island.
- Assist guests with their luggage at the Lounge and Welcome Plaza/Center.
- Report any damaged or lost luggage to the management timely.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform regular checks and maintenance on ground service equipment.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, when required.
- Work in all weather conditions and be prepared for physical work.
- Communicate effectively with other ground staff to ensure the smooth transition of luggage.
- Handle special luggage items, such as large sports equipment with extra care.
- Assist passengers with mobility issues with their luggage.
- Ensure the luggage hold is correctly loaded and balanced before flight.
- Work efficiently to ensure luggage is available for collection by passengers promptly after landing.

Qualifications
