Job Description
Administration of information technology (IT) services and fulfilling requirements and priorities while managing IT resources to ensure effective and efficient solutions, installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and solving technical and application problems.
-Evaluating the company’s needs, choosing the most suitable software, hardware, and other IT requirements, and ensuring all requirements are fulfilled.
Directs and coordinates the implementation of IT operations, projects, and programs, ensuring alignment of IT services with the business needs and adherence to the company’s principles and best management practices.
-Reviews vendor contracts and coordinates IT purchases (hardware, software, and services) to ensure effective deployment of solutions aligned with user needs.
-Monitor the IT department’s budget.
-Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users benefit from them.
-Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
-Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
-Ensuring the security of the physical and virtual components of Information Technology.
-Organizing data, storing them securely, and creating backups.
-Replace parts as required (laptops, printers…)
-Support the roll-out of new applications.
-Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.
-Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate) while prioritizing and managing many open cases simultaneously.
-Test and evaluate new technologies and report to the management feedback about the effectiveness, benefits, disadvantages, and challenges.
-Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or a similar field.
3-5 years of proven work experience in a similar role.
Fluency in the English language.
Technical knowledge about IT, and security of systems.
Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact with different parties to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
Problem-solving skills.
Logical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology.
Excellent observational and analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize workload.
Detail Oriented.
