48 Hours per week. Starting between 4am and 10am, working predominantly Monday to Friday however flexibility required to work any 5 days in a 7 day period subject to business needs.

We are now recruiting for multiple Driver’s Mates to join us. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting our drivers to deliver our stock of lagers, ales, and craft beers accurately and safely from our West Thurrock depot to our customers, ensuring that each delivery is completed with excellent customer service:
Key Accountabilities:
- Supporting the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading of stock.
- Supporting the driver with the most efficient traffic routes to help you both get to each location and back home as quickly and safely as possible.
- Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Prior experience working as a driver’s mate, drayman or within a warehouse desirable however not required.
- Customer service
- Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
- Knowledge of local region.
- UK Driving Licence preferred – please be aware that start times will vary between 4am and 10pm. Public transport to and from site may not be available at these hours so please ensure that if you do not have access to a car at these hours, you have suitable arrangements for getting to and from site at these times.
