Job Description

The person holding this position has to coordinate the cooperation between their operational field and all the other departments of the corporation, in such a way that the flow of information is always free of obstacles, without any delay and to ensure an entirely positive coordination.

The person holding this position has to fulfill their obligations in such a way that:

  • All tasks are completed in an accurate, timely, rapidly and cost-efficient manner;
  • The transports have to be delivered in the safest, most rapid and effective way;
  • The instructions regarding the takeover/handling (packaging, labeling etc)/delivery are properly observed as they were transmitted by the Operational and Customer Relations Departments all the assigned tasks are fulfilled in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures; all the requests/mentions/commentaries received from everyone they come in contact with by the nature of the activity are transmitted to the Operational and Customer Service Departments; all relevant and applicable regulations and guidelines are adhered to ADR/DGR/IATA

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The person holding this position has to independently perform the following tasks:

  • Loads/unloads the parcels scheduled for takeover/shipment;
  • Verifies completeness and integrity of Shipments as well as temperature requirements according to accompanying documentation consults with the dispatcher regarding the best available route;
  • Reads and interprets maps to establish the most efficient route;
  • Checks the collected transports in the office and prepares them for transit;
  • Ensures that the House Way Bill document is properly completed in by the addressee or addressee;
  • Uses the office mobile phone to immediately report the completed stages, possible alterations occurred as to the scheduled ones;
  • Checks the status in which the goods are handed to him/her and if they present any nonconformity,
  • He/She immediately informs the Operations and Customer Relations Department; maintains the assigned vehicle in good condition,
  • operational and clean follows the chart of periodical technical revisions of the assigned vehicle;
  • Never leaves vehicle with shipment unguarded and properly locks vehicle when not in it’s vicinity; fulfills all the tasks received correctly and in time;
  • Maintains excellent relations of collaboration with the other members of the team; has to be affable, polite, decently dressed, using the company’s uniform;
  • Must be presentable, polite, wear clean clothes and well-kept; observes the protective norms for labor;
  • Must abide by the company’s strict non-drug & alcohol policy during working hours;
  • Immediately reports any accident to Operations/Customer Service Team,
  • Responsible over Vehicle and Administrative Manager and completes an accident report;
  • Ensures that car documentation, driver’s license and identification are present;

Customer Service & Operations Manager

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driving license is mandatory
  • Good communication skills Ability to execute daily tasks properly
  • Ability to take decisions in own area of expertise and responsibility Good cooperation in the department and in the company
