Job Description
The position involves promoting, coordinating, developing and following up the authority’s and the county’s work with human rights and national minorities. You must carry out independent work with human rights in collaboration with other actors and follow up and communicate results in an easily accessible way. The work includes providing support to municipalities, regions, state authorities and other actors through networks, knowledge compilations and competence-enhancing efforts. The work also includes preparing, leading and developing consultations with representatives of national minorities. You are expected to coordinate and drive a harmonization of the human rights and crisis management perspectives as well as methods to develop these. Part of the assignment also includes supporting the county administrations’ operational support processes in order to be able to develop and follow up on human rights in projects, decisions and strategies. A success factor is being comfortable with conducting dialogue and designing cooperation with society’s actors.
Responding to referrals and producing qualified documents is a recurring part of the role as development manager. Â
Qualifications
You must have:
– academic degree that the employer deems relevant
– experience of having worked with human rights, national minorities and rights-based work in public administration
– experience of having worked with the development of human rights analyzes and practical implementation
– knowledge of process and/ or project management good knowledge of how government, authorities and municipalities work together
Merit:
– previous experience of working at a county administrative board with similar tasks
