Job Description
Our client is a company specializing in the insurance sector and is looking for a FR/ENG accountant for its offices in Luxembourg City.
You prepare and encode financial entries
You prepare payments and transfers (overheads, taxes)
You encode technical entries (premiums, claims, equalization provision) in collaboration with the Technical Accountant
You carry out bank reconciliations and IFRS consolidations
You prepare income statements, balance sheets and customer pack reporting
You prepare tax returns and analyze tax bulletins
You prepare reports for local authorities (BCL, CAA, etc.)
You prepare and participate in internal and client meetings (committee, Board of Directors, etc.)
You are in contact with company auditors, banks, clients and suppliers
Profile sought:
You have a university degree in accounting
You have 2-3 years’ experience in accounting
You are familiar with Luxembourg legislation governing the supervision of insurance and reinsurance companies
You have experience in a commercial company or in the field of insurance and reinsurance
You are fluent in French AND English or Spanish. Any other additional language is an asset.
You are rigorous, curious and autonomous.
Knowledge of DeMaSy software is an asset.
